“Dr. Park has been teaching our 12-year-old daughter for several years now and the transformation has been truly remarkable. Not only has her technical abilities improved properly but her overall artistry and musicianship came alive under the mentorship of Dr.Park. As parents watching our daughter develop into a pianist, some of the most compelling teaching style and characteristics that we appreciated themost was Dr. Park’s ability to be patient and help her students find their wayin the complex world of piano. While commanding a very disciplined approach,Dr. Park also possesses a very unique nurturing method of teaching for herstudents as well. We owe all of our daughter’s piano develop to Dr. Park.”
“I have loved piano music and have tried to learn to play the piano a couple times in the past, but the instruction from Dr. Park has helped me to become a pianist. Dr. Park teaches in a way of discussion in1-on-1 private lessons to show me how hand motions on the keys, phrasing, dynamics, and how history and music theory come together in playing the piano. If I have questions on a piece or do not understand a skill the first time, I know Dr. Park can go over it again with me in another way during my lesson. I have also really enjoyed the variety of repertoire assigned to me or that I have chosen with Dr. Park, from Bach to Debussy. I look forward to continuing to learn more skills in playing the piano with Dr. Park.”
